Hushroomis built on one idea: you shouldn't have to renovate to enjoy a room. Most people can't knock down walls or call in builders just to watch films properly, game without the echo, or record without the room ringing. So we make the upgrade something you can hang, stick or set down — and undo just as easily.
Our range covers the three things that turn a plain room into a screening room: acoustic treatment that softens echo, screens and blackout that give you a proper picture, and comfort pieces — rugs, bias lighting, cable tidies — that finish the space. Everything is no-build and renter-friendly.
We're also honest about what our products do. Acoustic treatment absorbs echo insidea room; it is not soundproofing and won't stop sound reaching the neighbours. We'd rather set the right expectation than oversell.
Absorption, not soundproofing
Our acoustic products absorb echo and reverb inside a room so it sounds cleaner. They do not block sound travelling to or from neighbouring rooms (that is sound insulation), and we make no specific decibel-reduction promises.
Where a supplier publishes an NRC or absorption coefficient, we quote it with its test conditions. Real-world results vary with room size, how much material you use, and frequency.
